Golf 2007

2007 saw us returning to The Crichton Golf Club for our annual golfing day out.

This year saw 40 golfers, of all standards teeing off. The weather was once again in our favour, with the rain holding off.

After the golf everybody returned to the Lodge for the prize giving, a buffet and a few well earned pints.

A special thanks should also go to to the Duffries Masonic Club for a providing such a lovely spread.

An additional collection was also made for the Hannah Irving Scanner Appeal, this raised the sum of £170.00

 

Winners

Brother Fred Birkbeck, Lodge 140 won the Masters trophy with a Net 71
Brother Garry Stevenson, Lodge 1289 won the visiting Lodge trophy with a Net 64
Angus Layden, won the Non Mason Trophy with a net 63
Bro. Joe Wilson, Lodge 140 won nearest the pin on the 5th.
Bro. Bill Watson, Lodge 62 won nearest the pin on the 18th.
Bro. Brian Porteous, Lodge 107 won the longest drive on the 18th.

The Jim McWhan trophey was won by Bro. Derek Brown and Bro. Raymond Marshall of Lodge 62
